The front nine of this par 71, 6,500-yard championship course is nestled within oak-lined valleys, and the back nine crosses a tidal estuary, making this a great golfing experience for all skill levels.

The course has challenging par 5's that are also eagle-able if you are long and straight with your woods. There are plenty of par 3's to diversify the course, as well. Generally, the course is structured to make sure you are pulling out a new club at the tee box every hole. I generally use all 11 of my clubs when playing this course.

And watch out for the 10th tee.  You hit over the river that flows through the course, then walk over a bridge to get to the fairway. Pull out your driver on the 10th and see if you can green it (about 390 yards downhill).  There is more than one lost ball on the bottom of that river.

Pricing is moderate. They have a great infinite golf package that I'd recommend if you are planning on playing there a lot. They are partnered with Black Lake Golf (27 holes) so it's a great deal. The infinite package includes a lot of 2 for 1's, $99 4-somes, free balls, 50% greens fees, etc.

If golf is your favorite pasttime, there isn't a more romantic course around.  But there are other golf courses in the area.  You may want to take a look at some of them too.
