A Bed and Breakfast Inn In Clear Lake - In A Caboose!
The Casablanca Caboose
I just don't know where Jerry found this place, but it was incredible. Real cabooses (or is it caboosi?), each one different, about six of them. We stayed in the Casablanca Caboose. We had a jacuzzi all to ourselves, and even a piano -- who would have believed it? It was fun, it was terribly romantic, and I would love to do it again.
The name of the place is Featherbed Railroad Bed and Breakfast. We had real featherbeds too. We went out boating and fishing on Clear Lake, which is right there.
And one day we went and visited the Langtry Vineyards.
I was so impressed with everything. This is definitely something that you want to add to your B&Bs. The meals were a little heavy for my taste, with a German influence, but they were tasty. As I say, I would gladly do it again!
