The three levels at George's at the Cove teem with innovation, taste and dining pleasure. The La Jolla restaurant that we enjoyed the most is on the lower level. But let's start at the top. Read what other travelers have to say about George's.

When the sun sparkles on the Pacific, it is a pretty good guess that the Ocean Terrace will be full of people eating and greeting. This is a favorite local spot. Every time we stop by, we bump into people we have known for years.
Maybe it is the creative dining. Maybe it is the great service. Maybe the amazing views of La Jolla Cove have something to do with it.
Whatever it is, George's at the Cove Ocean Terrace has done it right.

This is what a lot of people think of when they hear of George's at the Cove: the bar area. There's lots of room at the bar, but it still gets crowded. It shares spectacular views with the Ocean Terrace, which is right above it. The sunsets are as beautiful here too.

We only have a limited number of "meal slots" when we visit La Jolla, so we chose this La Jolla restaurant carefully. And we are so pleased that we did. The dinner pleased our taste buds, and our funny bone, immensely.
Both the meals and the presentations were truly outstanding. I mention the "funny bone" because we even got some "beer ice cream" for dessert. It tickled my funny bone. And it was surprisingly very tasty (and that from a "non-beer person").
All three of George's levels are huge successes by any measure. No matter what your pleasure, stop by and try at least one of them.
