Hotels in Thousand Oaks:
The Hyatt

The Hyatt is one of our favorite hotels in Thousand Oaks for a number of reasons.  Find the best deal, compare prices, and read what other travelers have to say about Hyatt Westlake Plaza in Thousand Oaks

First, it is a very pleasant hotel.  It is a small hotel, but with lots of open space, it presents a feeling of spaciousness.

The open walkways and soft colors bring a feeling of light and airiness to the whole hotel.

This corner statue with wrought iron railings is a charming area.

Hotels in Thousand Oaks - the Hyatt gazebo

The outdoor gazebo is a lovely escape from the world.  And that oak tree next to it reminds us of why this town is called "Thousand Oaks".  In fact, most hotels in Thousand Oaks feature these magnificent oaks prominently.  Not only does an oak tree dominate a scene, but it does so very beautifully.

Looking onto the gazebo is a lovely outdoor dining area, absolutely perfect for a sunny afternoon.

And for a night cap, try out Knuckles Bar.  I know, this sounds like a very macho bar, and bar section is pretty "sportsy".  But adjacent to that area is a quieter area for lighter meals and conversation.

One of the best parts about the Hyatt is that it is right next to Brent's Deli, one of our favorite deli's of all time.

It is also one of the best hotels in Thousand Oaks because it is a super stopover between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara.  It is right along the freeway, with easy on and off.

All in all, the Hyatt is one of the hotels in Thousand Oaks that we can definitely recommend.

For more information, do visit the Hyatt website.  (Note: Technically it is the Westlake Hyatt.  Town borders run in and out along this area.  There is only one Hyatt in the Westlake - Thousand Oaks area.)
