The more we looked, the more romantic La Jolla restaurants we discovered at La Valencia Hotel.  Fireplaces and snuggly corners and wonderful cuisine abounded.

It is true.  Some of La Valencia Hotel is quite well known.  And some of it -- we think the more romantic part -- is less so.

	The Sky Room. Sit atop the world and gaze out through huge ceiling to floor windows at the azures of the ocean and sky.  This is a small, intimate restaurant, perfect for a romantic evening.
	The Mediterranean Room.  Bursting with sunlight throughout the day, this is a lovely place for sea gazing and fireplace sighing.  Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served here.
	The Outdoor Balcony. Looking out the windows of the Mediterranean Room, you can see a row of tables along a private balcony.  Choose this on a sunny day for a delightful lunching experience.
	Patio Dining.  On Sundays this is filled with brunch-ers.  On week days it greets lunch-ers.  But the early evening is all yours, with a brilliant fire place and gorgeous fountain and flowers all around.
	The "Living Room Lobby" area is perfect for light dining or a cocktail anytime.  Our very favorite tables are the ones way in back by the piano.  There is even a dance floor, just in case you need a reason to snuggle up.
	The Outdoor Garden. As a guest at the hotel, you can choose to lunch at one of the sunny outdoor garden tables, with flowers blooming all over.
	The Whaling Bar.  Claim one of the delightful private booths as your own.  Whaling stuff decorates the bar, and the famous whaling mural is there too.
	The Whaling Bar Grill.  Just around the corner from the Whaling Bar is the Grill, with its jaguars and cozy fireplace.

There is such a variety of La Jolla restaurants, all in this one place!  From ultra casual at the pool to very special in the Sky Room.  Each and every locale maintains the outstanding reputation that has made La Valencia Hotel so exceptional.

And don't forget the spectacular Sunday brunch at La Valencia Hotel.  This is worth a trip in itself, with oysters and seafood and cutting station and dessert treats and every kind of breakfast you might dream of.  The chefs really outdo themselves every single Sunday.
