There are some wonderful restaurants at Seaport Village San Diego. Harbor Restaurant is one of our favorites. It is right in the middle of Seaport Village, near some of the best San Diego hotels.
Watching the sailing boats that scamper along the harbor is one of the real joys of the Seaport Village restaurants: nearly all of them face the water, with just wonderful views.

Here is our favorite table. Kurt and Lindee are enjoying it right now.
Those glorious floor to ceiling windows wrap around the Harbor House Restaurant, providing nearly every table with great views of the passing boats. A sunny day brings out dozens and dozens of beautiful sails and yachts.
There is also a very nice balcony just outside the door to the right. This area gets really crowded on bright summer days, so get there a bit early.
Ken swears by the oysters at Harbor House Restaurant. He says they are the best he has ever eaten. And the clam chowder and crab cakes and seafood salads are all remarkable too.

![]() The entrance to the Harbor House is always filled with flowers and greenery, and the American flag. Kris was our lovely waitress. She was so nice that Ken had to give her one of the "little'uns" (adorable little lions like Kingsley). |
It is hard to miss Harbor House Restaurant as you stroll through Seaport Village San Diego. But then, who would want to miss it? Whether for lunch or dinner, or a sunset cocktail, it is a perfect spot.
