The Loft Restaurant at the Montage in Laguna Beach really is soooo  romantic.  No tonly do we know this to be true, but visitors like you tell us so too.

Coming from Boston, we weren't really sure what to expect at the Montage Laguna Beach. We have been disappointed so often. But not this time. I just can't imagine a more perfect getaway.

Our Laguna Beach getaway began with a long, long lunch at The Loft, gazing lovingly into each other's eyes and letting all the stress melt away.

I couldn't resist.  I had to have an upside down salad!  And what a treat it was.  I have never had a salad served like this, and so perfectly set the tone of our romantic vacation, i.e., just a shade irreverent.

Then the gentle ocean breezes seemed to pick up every bit of anxiety and just waft it away from us. It was so beautiful. And so romantic.

How did they ever find this location?

There were just so many "us" things to do. We sat on the lawn and on the various benches along the cliff side and talked and talked. Or didn't.

We visited the bonfire pit at night and snuggled.

We ordered breakfast in bed.

We even went whale watching like the boat in one of the pictures.

One afternoon we had a couples spa treatment. Stuffy old us! We laughed and enjoyed ourselves like we haven't for years. We had planned on going to the Art Festival, but we decided that we really wanted "us time" and we really found it at The Montage.

The Montage Laguna Beach was such a perfectly romantic place to spend our California vacation. I would give the Montage Resort five stars, no question, plus more if I could.

	230 Forest Avenue.  230 Forest Avenue Restaurant looks pretty laid back, but the meals that come out of the kitchen are truly super ... time after time.
	Picayo Restaurant. Picayo Restaurant in Laguna Beach welcomes travelers from near and far away, all of whom find their way to this delightful hideaway with a Mediterranean flavor, where "romance" is more than a meal.
